Leading sports app developer, Strava, asked us to develop a range of content to launch the new features on their app. The main requirements, beyond encouraging an increase in downloads, were to create a series of films that were aspirational yet attainable and to immerse the viewer into the functionality of the app.
To ensure authenticity, we cast the athletes from the existing pool of Strava users and filmed the action in our cinematic documentary style.
We bought in our regular collaborator, Joe Fellows, to help create animated graphics that are embedded and interacted with the live action footage. Through this, we were able to achieve the goal of clearly explaining the functionality of the app in an integrated and immersive fashion.
