Vimeo approached us to make two short films, drawing on our background in documentary. The idea was to tell real stories that would inspire people, with raising brand awareness as a secondary motive.
It was a great brief to get. We wanted to make cinematic shorts that spoke for themselves, and found two stories that focused on different kinds of transformation — people who'd found a new lease of life.

We found our two stories and pitched them to Vimeo, who gave us complete creative freedom. ‘Why Not Now’ was shot in the US, and both shoots were very intimate, with the crew getting to really know the subjects and their stories.
It was rewarding to be able to tell these stories in the way that felt right. The results speak to that, with the videos winning critical acclaim, including a cinematography award from the Guild of Television Camera Professionals.
