Creative - video

The role


Objekt is seeking a highly talented and passionate Creative to join our ambitious team. You will be working with the senior team to be the driving force of new ideas and having input throughout the execution of the ideas.

What you'll do

Supporting the senior team during the initial pitching stage by generating captivating ideas that excite both new and existing audiences.
Collaborating closely with our production team to ensure that these innovative, engaging, and creative ideas are achievable and realistic.
Executing ideas flawlessly with strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Write and design visually appealing creative proposals and treatments.
Writing initial scripts, copy, and storyboards.
Directing shoots when suited
Work alongside our senior team to shape and sell ideas throughout the creative and pitching process, both internally and externally.
Becoming the creative quality control as a project goes from initial idea through production through to delivery.

About you

A content enthusiast who appreciates content in all its forms and constantly seeks inspiration, with a visual reference for everything.

Versatile - confident developing a wide range of ideas from a new YouTube format to a 30s commercial.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the confidence to articulate and sell creative thoughts and ideas.

A keen writer, with the ability to write succinct, punchy ideas and copy.
Proficiency in Google Workspace (or equivalent). Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is a significant advantage.

Self-Shooting Editor / Videographer

The role

We're searching for a highly motivated and creative Self-Shooting Editor to join our team. You'll be responsible for the entire production process, from concept to delivery, with a focus on creating engaging content for social media platforms. This includes:

Shooting: Planning and executing video shoots, including operating cameras (mobile, DSLRs, FX3 up to FX9 or similar), lighting, and sound recording.
Editing: Assembling footage, crafting narratives, adding music and sound effects, colour grading, and incorporating basic motion graphics.
Post-Production: Managing and organising media, ensuring proper file naming and backup procedures, and archiving completed projects.
Collaboration: Working closely with the creative team to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and ensure projects align with brand guidelines.

What you'll do

Conceptualise, shoot, edit, and deliver high-quality video content for various social media platforms.
Maintain a strong understanding of current social media trends and best practices.
Operate a variety of cameras and production equipment to capture compelling footage.
Ensure all projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards.
Contribute creative ideas throughout the production process.
Maintain organised project files and adhere to established workflows.
Collaborate effectively with other team members.

About you

2+ years of professional experience as a self-shooting editor or videographer.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and other Creative Cloud applications.
Strong understanding of video production techniques, including lighting and sound.
Experience with various camera systems (mobile, DSLRs, cinema cameras).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating engaging content.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A strong portfolio showcasing your shooting and editing skills.
